They are still trying to figure out if coaching is for them. Likewise, if a coach is only coaching part-time, that should be a red flag. Would you see a neurologist who splits his time between seeing patients and waiting tables at the local IHop? Probably not!                                              
2. Proven Track Record - What kind of results have they generated in their coaching business? And more importantly, what results can you confirm? 4. Niche - What area do they specialize in? Is their niche a good match for your needs? Going to a Career Coach when you need a Relationship Coach defeats the purpose of going to a coach.                                                     
5. Neediness - If the coach you consider hiring comes across as needy. That should be a huge red flag. That indicates they are more interested in their wallet than your well-being.                                                                      
6. Price - Going with the lowest price available is not always the best strategy. You get what you pay for in life. If you buy your jewelry at Dollar General, you get a dollar's worth of rubbish. The same is true with coaching; you get what you pay for in coaching. Suppose you hire a coach that charges $35 a session. You are going to get results that reflect $35.
