When Is A Life Coach Too Expensive?

People are often amazed when they ask me how much it costs to coach with me.

Early in my career, I would slowly mumble a number, hoping they wouldn't cringe. Back then, I was giving my coaching away. Yet I was always preparing myself for the sting of rejection. 

But today, I no longer reply with a number when asked how much I charge.  Instead, I reply with a question, "How much are you willing to invest to get the results you want?

If you are a life coach, ask your potential clients this question. The answers you receive might surprise you and lead to interesting conversations.

I've come to the understanding that I offer quality and that some potential clients are looking for value when it comes to coaching. And they have a right to seek it, but if that is their mindset, I'm not their coach.

When is a life coach too expensive?  The answer is simple.

If the rate being charged is more than you are willing to pay for the result you want. That coach is too expensive.

Before contacting a life coach and inquiring about their services, determine how much you are willing to pay to get the desired result.
