Discover Your SHAPE: The Key to Finding Your True Purpose in Life
As a Freedom Life Coach, I am passionate about helping individuals discover their unique purpose and live the life they were created to live. The SHAPE acrostic, developed by Rick Warren, is a powerful tool I use to guide my clients toward uncovering their God-given purpose.
Here is a brief explanation of the SHAPE acronym and how it can be utilized to find one's purpose.
S - Spiritual Gifts: God has given everyone a unique set of spiritual gifts. These gifts can be used to serve others and fulfill our purpose. We can identify our spiritual gifts through prayer, self-reflection, and helping others. And by recognizing and developing these gifts, we can positively impact the world and live with purpose.
H - Heart: Our heart refers to our passions and desires. Identifying the things we are passionate about is essential, as these can often point us toward our purpose. We can make a significant difference in the world when we align our passions with our spiritual gifts.
A - Abilities: Our abilities are our natural talents and skills. These can be developed and used to serve others and fulfill our purpose. Identifying and finding ways to use our abilities meaningfully is crucial to living our purpose.
P - Personality: Our personality influences how we interact with the world around us. Understanding our personality can help us identify the best ways to use our gifts, passions, and abilities to fulfill our purpose.
E - Experiences: Our positive and negative past experiences can provide valuable insights into our purpose. By reflecting on our experiences, we can better understand how to use them to serve others.
Discovering your purpose is like putting together a puzzle. Just as a puzzle has many pieces that fit together to create a beautiful picture, our purpose is made up of many different aspects of our SHAPE - our spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences.
It can be challenging to see how these pieces fit together at first, but as we identify and understand each piece, we can see the bigger picture of our purpose. Sometimes we may need to try different pieces in different places before we find the right fit, but with perseverance and patience, we can create a clear picture of our purpose.
By using the SHAPE acrostic, we can gain clarity on our purpose and begin living the life we were created to live. As a Freedom Life Coach, I am committed to helping my clients discover their SHAPE and live a life of purpose and fulfillment.
